Summary:

Hi Experts, I need your help, please.
There is a customer running Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 12.2.0.1 on DBCS in OCI. The customer is concerned about some functionalities they might lose access to after the support period expires on September 30, 2024.

I would like your assistance with these questions because the customer claims they will continue paying for support.
The features they are worried about include:

  • Cloud Automation (DB Duplication and Restoration), including RMAN.
  • Viewing performance metrics, such as CPU & RAM usage.
  • Integration with other services like Logging Analytics and Notifications.
  • VPN Tunnels.
  • Autotask (they refer to this as a scheduler) that performs statistic updates in the background.

Howdy, Stranger!
