Floorstock item implementation, cost variance issue

Hello Everyone,

In order to implement Floorstock feature, I configured the item as "Bulk" supply type at Work Definition level. Hence we are not able to consume/track the item quantity at Work order level resulting cost variances at Work order level. However the idea is not to pick floorstock items from regular sub inventory but consume them directly from the shop floor.

I already created POC with the following approach - created Floorstock subinventory, asked them to move the quantity in smaller portions to Floorstock subinventory, consume from there during production and from time to time clear Floorstock subinventory using Misc Issue. But the real concern is with variance.
