Absence Validation for non accrued absences

How do you configure an absence validation for non-accrued absence?

Hi All,

I am trying to configure an absence that has no accruals but the absence balance needs to be validated.

Let me put 2 cases here

Case 1:

Absence Type: Bereavement Leave

Absence Validation: Maximum Bereavement Leave taken in a year = 2 days.

We may possibly create an accrual with front-load of 2 days in a year and achieve it. But Bereavement is not an regular entitlement, it is based on the event. Is there another way to configure it and validate that number of days of leave does not exceed 2 days.
