Leave balance should be deducted from current year if leave applied in consecutive days

Summary

if employee apply for the leave starting from 25-Dec-2024 till 10-Jan-2025 then currently it is deducting the balance of 7 days from Year 2024 and 10 days of balance from year 2025.

We are looking for the solution where it should deduct all the days from year 2024 only instead of deducting the balance of 2025.
