Text personalizations via VB Studio

Summary:

We currently have text personalizations in many pages, we understand that guided journeys can be used to meet this requirement. In the Journeys pages itself we need to insert text in relation to free-text fields the guided journey option is not possible. We see in VB Studio there is an option to insert text which is greyed out, will this be enabled in the future?
