Can we keep Goodwill offset as a historical account?

Summary:

In our use case, the Investment and Equity accounts are historical accounts. The child entities are in GBP and the Parent is also in GBP so goodwill is generated in GBP. For example - Investment - 135 and Equity - 120. Goodwill in GBP is 15. Now, if I check these numbers in USD reporting, the Investment and Equity accounts will translate at Average rate (considering no overrides entered), but the goodwill offset account will translate the goodwill generated at Ending rate since it is not a historic account. So, if my average rate is 1.10 and Ending is 1.15,
