Remove Pencil icon from Additional assignment page

Summary:

We are storing bio metric data in additional aasignment page and Employees can only view their original bio metric data on EIT. Editing bio metric data on EIT should not be accessible for them. I tried this through page composer but to remove pencil icon option is greyed out.
So you can see in the below screenshot that i am unable to access the data and edit it.

Is there any other way to remove it or make this data as read only mode.
