Professional Development

We are looking to track the completion of 5 professional development courses annually for each employee. Employees should have the option to complete these courses either in-person at their location (facilitated by an Instructor who tracks attendance) or through a self-paced course on Oracle Learning.

We’ve considered two approaches, but are seeking advice on the best solution:

  1. Assigning 10 Courses: Create 5 in-person courses (generic, with the Instructor providing details) and 5 self-paced courses, then assign all 10 courses within a specialization. Employees would be required to complete any 5 courses. However, one drawback we’ve noticed is that specializations can't be automatically re-assigned year after year.
