Adjust Seniority Dates Automation

Summary:I have read the oracle documentation on how to adjust a seniority date but looking for some further information to see if there is a simpler way to adjust an EEs seniority instead of trying to calculate the number of days especially if the adjust needs to go back a year or more.

Are we able to just update the seniority date and the system can calculate the days? For example we have an employee's whose Enterprise Seniority date is showing as 2024-08-29 but it should be 2024-08-14. Can we just select the edit pencil make the date update and the system knows it is 15 days? is there a simpler way to process the adjustments without having to enter in either a positive or negative value of days?
