Is it possible to have the list of BOM in the left panel hidden by default?

Hello,

During configuration we have something like that:

We would like to have by default opened the tab proposal, so the list of all the configured items is displayed by default, but we would like to not have opened the tab ot the item to display all the boms.

For example, instead of having this:

We would like to have this by default and then the user can choose which tabs to open:

Is it something feasible? How can we do that?
