Multiple Projects vbs some with HCM.git and some with test.git

Good morning, everyone,

It seems in our organization everyone started creating a project and their workspace and what happens now we wanted to keep just one project and delete all other projects. Not sure if there are changes that were merged as well.

As a best practice now, we want to keep only one project and workspace for HCM Changes.

How should we merge this now? Delete all projects and create a new one and assign team members. If we delete projects what are the downstream impact?

Why some projects are created with hcm.extension.git and others created as test.git.
