Oracle WMS enforces us to enter serial numbers at the inbound receiving stage. This basically corresponds to the RECEIVE transaction in Oracle Fusion Inventory. Is it possible to enter serial numbers during putaway instead, same as we do in Oracle Fusion SCM? Can you please explain the business process behind it as I'm new to WMS?

Plus, from the integration standpoint, how Oracle SCM would capture serial numbers at the receiving stage?
