Procurement Contracts: How to restrict user to see the contracts based on department only.

Summary: The customer has different departments in their business and they want users to see the contracts related to their own department only in read access mode.

They have DFF fields for the 'department' while adding the contracts .

But while searching the contract we don't have any filter criteria on UI by which we can search the contracts based on department.

For example in below screenshot the user want to see the contracts for "Finance & Technology - BTS" department only in read access mode.

They want a new data Security policy to be created for this to refer to BTS department contracts only and a new custom role for same.
