When a supplier is merged, can transactions show how much was spent by old supplier vs the New?

Summary:

We are currently testing out the supplier merging functionality. What we noticed is, when these POs are changed to the new supplier - no where on the PO does it show that change was made. Nor does it show how much supplier 1 utilized vs the new supplier? Is there a way to see/show that? We would like the PO/BPA to show the utilization/spend history.

Ex. Supplier 1 was merged to Supplier 2. PO123 for $400 for supplier 1 was changed to supplier 2. $100 was already paid against PO123 for supplier 1. And remaining $300 is open for utilization for Supplier 2. How can we show that on the PO? Is there also a way to show this on a BPA?
