Can we sort Department Tree nodes based on sequence e.g which nodes were added first/last?

edited Sep 12, 2024 7:13AM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Summary:

Nodes/Departments are sorted alphabetically by Node Name by default.

Question: Can we sort Department Tree nodes based on sequence e.g which nodes were added first?

Our customer would like to check if it's possible to sort the Nodes according to their own or custom sequence. E.g, Recently added departments would be at the bottom. etc.

Sample:

Education Prg US would need to come after Administrative Services Prg US and so on.

Is there another way to sort or re-arrange these parent and child nodes? Please advise.

Their Purpose: Sometimes there is a new office that comes in and add that new office to an existing Bureau somewhere. If it is arranged the usual in sequence or alphabetical the new added office will not be displayed as they want it.

Howdy, Stranger!
