How can we ensure intercompany reports reflect the correct parent entities when Parent changed

Summary:

Hi All, we have below scenario, for example Entities Alpha and Beta were 100% under Parent_One until June 2024. From July 2024 onwards, they are no longer under Parent_One and are now 100% under Parent_Two. While running the intercompany reports, we are seeing these entities listed with both old and new parents. Our expectation is that for these entities, reports run prior to July 2024 should show Parent_One as the parent, and from July 2024 onwards, they should show Parent_Two as the parent. Please let us know if anyone has any suggestions or feedback. Thanks in Advance.
