How to let users search by model across different families in home page

Summary:

Hi, we need to allow users searching by product MODEL in home page. Is there a way that could be done?

We have several families, each one with its own lines/models, and very often the users don't know in which family/line the model they need is located. So in home page, above the list of families, we need to add a "Search by Model" option.
