Special Characters when uploading Exp_types

Summary:

I have uploaded few thousands of Exp_types (Construction Line of business)

After uploading I found they are appearing differently in the Application ( Manager Expenditure Types) screen

Please find below screen shots and suggest how to change it or where to change it
