What is the Maximum Calcparallel Setting Recommended (limit)

I'm trying to find out what would be the maximum recommended setting that calcparallel could be set at in EPBCS. Is there any documentation about the limit of threads we can run per core or about how many cores we have available to us for parallel calculation in the cloud instance? Any help would be appreciated.
