Accrual Balance Calculation Inconsistent

Summary:

Has anyone encountered the following?

Accrual Balance calculation returns different values depending if the ESS process 'Calculate Accruals and Balances' is run or 'Calculate Accruals and Balances' from the UI. Same person, same dates, same plans, same formulas.

The results are widely different, say 123 hours for ESS and 66 hours for UI. Obviously there is no logging available for the UI calculation. The correct value is the 123.

The assignment record is quite complicated, hours/FTE change mid-year which is handled by the Matrix formula and a termination which is handled by the Partial Period formula.

But there is no explanation for the inconsistent calculations.

Howdy, Stranger!
