Custom Project Intercompany Billing Invoice Line Groupings

Summary:

The interco billing in our solution is cost based (as opposed to milestone/event based).  The number of cost transactions is significantly large (large contracts, covering 100’s of projects) and the client’s requirements are to summarize all the project costs into a single invoice per contract, grouping the lines in a particular manner with specific line level attributes when creating both the AR and AP Intercompany invoices.

Standard functionality for grouping costs

Configures rules for labor vs. nonlabor separately so at the very best it seems we can group costs into 2 lines for each project.  Cannot combine projects at all (have seen documentation on this); even if we could avoid the labor vs. nonlabor grouping, the best we could do is 1 line per project (but can’t find an option to do this)
