The UOM code length limitation Overcome

Summary:

The know length limitation of UOM code (3 Digit) .In earlier releases may be R12 before R13 we were defining the UOM Name & Description Only (Attachment below) but later on the Code came up with it's limitation.

So any possibility to use the name & description as before??
