We would like to track historical data with varying attributes in EPBCS

in EPBCS we have attribute dimensions and attribute values are assigned to one of our custom dimension members. whenever we are assigning the attribute value from the same attribute dimension for the same member of custom dimension all historical data also showing under the newly assigned attribute value instead of old attribute value intersection.
