Function of "Selection type" in request non catalog learning

Summary: Function of "Selection type" in request non catalog learning

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information): Hi to all,

I logged in as a manager and I go into My team > Learning > tab "search" > Request non catalog learning.

When i follow the previous path I can see the follow picture:

We can't understand the function of these three kind of "Selection type" (Directs, Organization and Person).

Which are their functions? Because we can select the same person selecting directs, organization and person, so we can't understand their functions.
