How to Display History of Line Item Attributes

Summary:

We want to Display History of Line Item Attributes for all the product which were changed from old value to new value on click of some actions but using Transaction Level "Display History" type of action(by associating xsl) but here we are only getting the history of Transaction Level attributes and we tried creating a Transaction Line Level "Display History" type of action but here as well we are not getting the history of Transaction Line Level attributes.

We also tried using "Get History" REST API but it is not working and giving the result as "You don't have permission to access this resource" (We passed the Admin authentication as well but still the same error).
