Audit Report Filters Custom Dates

Summary:

In the EPM applications, the Audit Report can be filtered based on specific options only. Noted below of Today, yesterday, Last 7, 30, 60 or 180 days.

The Custom option is available but does not seem to work to bring in the requested records. Im looking for confirmation that this Custom option to select a date range can only be used with epmAutomate command and although avialable in the drop, does not apply if running the Audit report from application UI directly?
