How to set the height of table based on data or rows and restrict max height

Hi Experts

In table component below i'm having just 1 row but i want to restrict the empty space in the table component based on the rows available on the table.

I have set height:50vh, I had also set max-height:50vh but in this case it will just show the header and no columns as shown below. Please help
