Absence is getting saved from Timecard when copy of previous timecard is done
Summary:
In Absence entry page, we have hidden 'Save' button using 'HCM experience design studio'.
In Absence Type configuration, we have set View only on timecard. So from timecard, absence cannot be entered. Only way to enter absence is from Absences.
But we are having many employees who are doing 'Copy time card data' in their current time card, by Including Absences, and when time card is saved, the Absence is also getting saved and not submitted.
So the configurations said above to not allow employees to save is ignored.
I have tried changing our consumer set - where we had 'Absence approval routing' set to Time approval rules to 'Absence approval rules'. This also does not resolve our issue.
