Home Page Layout: "Panel/Banner" Can this be customize?

Hi,

Currently, NewsFeed layout is use for our home page layout and we are exploring to use other option like Banner/Panel. However, we encountered issues such as.

  1. In the Panel/Banner layout, when a tile is selected and the list of items under the tile appears, all other unselected tiles still appears on the background which appears messy/crowdy. Can this other tiles be hidden and only show the selected items under the tiles?
