Learner with Active Assignments - Skip creating a new assignment (Tick in Box) - Remove? - Redwood

We have Redwood enabled in our Learning Module and on the third section of the Initiative page there is a part that is "Defaulted" to a tick in the Learner with Active Assignments area and the section is Skip creating a new assignment and leave the existing assignments as is

We want to be able to untick this as we need the existing assignment either withdrawn or completed and then a "New " assignment created on the company wide start dates.

I have gone through "Configure Learner Defaults and pressed edit, but i still cannot remove the "Tick"
