Problem Deleting Assignment Records and Primary Flag Conflict

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with an employee who has two assignments. I need to delete all records in both assignments up to their respective starting records. However, the system requires me to move the primary flag each time I attempt to delete a record. When I do this, a new record is automatically created for the other assignment, which eventually makes the operation impossible.

How can I resolve this issue?

Attached are the employee’s data extracted from the PER_PERIODS_OF_SERVICE and PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M tables for reference.
