What is involved in changing the name of an existing UOM?

I have registered a unit of measure called “Unidad” and have already performed several transactions with items that have this unit of measure associated with them, from purchase requisitions to receipts and invoices.

But now the need has arisen to rename this unit of measure and rename it “Paquete de 2 unidades”.
I have performed a test and I see that the name is updated on items, requisitions, purchase orders and receipts. But I would like to know your opinion to know if it is a good practice to do this and to be able to guarantee the customer that in the future he will not have any data corruption if this unit of measure is renamed.
