Is it possible to auto start the plan cycle for a newly created entity in a planning unit?

Summary:

We would like to auto start the plan cycle for any new created entity (it inherits it's owners and reviewers from its parent, which is what we want). It only seems possible to include the new entity in the plan cycle, after the admin has manually "started" the new entity through the Manage Approvals screen.

We are looking for a solution where the admin does not have to push the button manually, but where the "start" action is automated and started directly after the new entity member has been refreshed into essbase.

I looked into EPMAutomate / REST API options, but it doetsn't seems possible. Would it be possible to have this additional option for starting / excluding entities into plancycles into the already existing RESTAPI for managing approval units, or is there another way to achieve what I want?
