Approval Time doesn't match Approver's Timezone

Our expenses auditor approves the expense claims.
She has noted that the time of approval of an expense report shows around 02:00 AM, wherein the actual time of approval is around 8 AM Malaysia (+8:00) timezone.
Our expectation is the view the approval time in Malaysia timezone.
Is there a way to achieve this by modifying the server's timezone to match the user timezone which is Malaysia?
