    REST API Duplicates Absence Duration

    After researching Customer Connect and Oracle Support, I still cannot understand the root cause of this behavior.

    We have an Integration that calls a REST API to create absence records.

    We observed that the Start date duration and End date duration are always calculated in double via REST API but not via the user interface. The integration layer responsible for receiving and transforming the file from the source system captured the absence correctly: the employee entered 8 hours for Sept 12, 2024 and 8 hours for Sept 13, 2024 and that information was transferred as such. But the Fusion REST API calculated 16 hours for Sept 12 and 16 hours Sept 13.
