Summary:

Inactive Quotes - User Error Prevention Changes.

We are using Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud.

User creates multiple quotes from same Sales opportunity but once on any of quote the contract is created other quotes should be read-only, user should able to access only the quote where contract is created.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

  1. Customize a solution within CPQ to disable the Create Contract button when another quote record on the opportunity already has a contract created.
  2. CPQ would be read-only for Inactive quotes and historic/old versions of the Active quote, so that the business users can review all tabs of information but be unable to interact with any of the fields.
