downloading .xlsm file with macros

Summary:

Hi All,

We are trying to download the .xlsm template file with MACRO from the Resources tab and then add the ADP data to it and then trying to download the same .xlsm file, the issue here is the downloaded .xlsm file doesn't have MACRO anymore.

What's working:

When we read the .xlsm file from the Resources tab and directly download the blob contents as .xlsm, the MACRO is intact and we are able to run the macros in the downloaded file as well.

What's NOT working:

When we read the xlsm file from the Resources tab and add the ADP data to it and then download the .xlsm file, it doesn't retain the original MACRO(s) in it.
