Approval history missing in Transaction Console for ELA

We've recently enabled ELA for Time Card Approvals and we have configured the TimecardApprovalELA task in BPM. There are no issues with the approvals - they now go only to the relevant manager when an employee submits a time card.
However, the approval history doesn't show in the Transaction Console UI. See attached screenshots. An employee submits a timecard for multiple assignments, the transaction shows as pending, but when clicking to see the specifics, we don't see the chain of approval. This is not an issue when we use the TimecardApproval task, it appeared only after we configured ELA.
