notes security and current actual reporting month

Summary:

In Narrative Reporting security can be set on a Note Template (Write or Read). Next to that the Note Template can be Editable or not. How should I do the setup to "lock" prior months Actuals notes?

A user can input a note if he has rights configured on the notes:

A notes template can be set to non editable. This will reduce the access rights from any users having Write rights to View only (assuming this is how this works).

The dimension period is part of my Notes Dimensionality setup, so I can use this template for each individual reporting month. The notes template is therefor linked to the notes input column in my report.
