I have gone thru Oracle documentation but did not quite get the purpose and how to use this decomposition group, please help me on my questions as below, thank you.

  1. Can you give me some example of "Trend" Decomposition group on when to use it?
  2. Is it mandatory to use all these decomposition groups and provide data thru FBDI?
  3. In FBDI example, sample data given by Oracle - it was given incremental number for each day. Do I have to provide the data
