HCM Compensation/Payroll Element Entries History Real Time Excluding Inactive / Terminated Employees

edited Oct 13, 2024 7:24PM in Reporting and Analytics for HCM 4 comments

Summary:

Payroll - Element Entries History Real Time does not appear to be returning data if the employees latest assignment is inactive (the employee is terminated).

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Building on this legacy post from 2021 and proposing a different outcome. From what I can tell….

  1. If an employee is currently active, then their previous (inactive) records from previous inactive assignments do pull in, providing a complete history for active employees.
  2. If an employee's latest status is inactive (they are termed from the company), then no records are returned.
    1. For our configuration, when the XML in this post is run it returns all inactive records associated with employees with at least one active assignment (1.).

Howdy, Stranger!
