Shipment line status in "Pending inventory processing" status

Summary:


We are trying to create miscellaneous issue on few inventory items. However, due to insufficient transactable qty we are not able to perform that. Upon reviewing we found out that the items are reserved on some old sales orders that are in closed status.

Shipment on these SOs shows line status as 'Pending inventory processing' and shipped'. We need to remove the reservation in order to have them adjusted. We were suggested to run ESS job 'Manage shipment interface' after extending the "ORA_INV_TRANSACTION_CREATION_DATE_VALIDATION" as the transaction dates back to 5 years in the past but we are hesitant to extend the profile value to this huge time frame.
