Narrative Library Folder Security

Hello, 

We have a situation where “we are allowing users to be able to edit their Narrative Reports (e.g. to insert footnotes), but being able to lock them out at a certain point to lock down the document. “ 

The suggestion from the Internal EPM Team was to apply write security on each Report for them to edit, but then to apply a view only security setting to a parent folder to supersede the write access on the child folder. Unfortunately, this needs an extra click for each report “Click to revert to inherited permissions” 

For example, Matt was set as a viewer on the “CBA Reporting” parent folder and then also as Admin at the child folder “Half Year”. As you can see below the child setting takes precedent unless we press that extra button to revert the permission to the parent’s default. Attache the screenshot for this for your reference.
