Oracle CDM - Store credentials for REST API invoked through groovy script

Hi,

We invoke external REST endpoints through groovy scripts. Currently, we are storing the credentials of the REST end points through Profile options. Is there a more secure way to store the end points rather than the profile options. Has anybody tried storing them on the idcs vault and know how to access the secrets through the groovy scripts?
