Ad Hoc: How to Remove Leading Spaces?

Background:

We are transitioning from HFM to FCCS.

1.) When building an ad hoc in HFM the member fields are formatted as Text by default and is done by SmartView. You cannot change this and even if you do change the cell format it will revert back to Text format with the next refresh. With indention enabled in the SmartView options the members are visually indented in the rows, but no extra characters are added.

What this means is that if we use an account of 410000 then the cells value is exactly 410000. Additionally, if I were to overwrite cell A3 with account 410008 then the grid will recognize it as a valid member because the cell is auto-formatted as Text. Because of this simple look up formulas such as
