System creating multiple batches for single depreciation run

Hi,

We ran the depreciation process in Nov-24 wherein the system created 218 GL batches for a single depreciation run. However, we have requirement of minimalistic batches. To achieve this we change the Manage subledger options for Assets (System options).

Changed the “Number of Create Accounting Workers” to 2 and Processing Unit Size to 100,000 ( Note: default setting was 1 with 1000 processing unit size )

Batches significantly reduced from 218 to 5. However, we are not sure how much sustainable would it be considering the system warning about impact on other process and distribution of workers for other process.
