Unable to view Project/Task data in Workforce Management - Reported Time Cards Real Time SA

Some of our users are using the "Workforce Management - Reported Time Cards Real Time" OTBI Subject Area and whilst they can see all the timecard related data, when they try to get a list-of-values on Project/Task filters, they don't see any data.

If I add one of the Projects seeded roles to the user's role (Project Manager, Project Accountant or Project Administrator) the filters shows the values as expected. However, we don't want to give our users that level of access to the Project's screens. Can anyone help me narrow down what roles/privs I need to grant to allow our users to view the Projects and Tasks in this Subject Area?
