Showing costing and other details on a payslip

Our employees sometimes receive salary from multiple different places or from multiple different costing strings.

The desire is to show the employee more detail about how and where they've been paid across our organization. Is there a way to show more detail? Here is an example:

Employee1 might be paid a regular salary for a pay period as well as two irregular salary supplemental payments from three different departments for the same period. If the supplemental payments were itemized with either the costing information, a business purpose, or a comment, printed on the pay stub, then Employee1 would know exactly what payments they received for that particular pay period, and who they were paid by. We have scenarios where the salary ledger clearly shows that a supplemental payment from one department is shown as paid out on the salary ledger, but the employees receiving the payment
