Setting FS Native permissions

edited Oct 18, 2024 3:00AM in Idea Lab – Integration Cloud

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):

Ipswich City Council

Description (Required):

In gen 3, we require the ability to set file/directory permissions to restrict access to un-authorized users using the FS Native Action call.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

In the current release of OIC (Gen3) any developer, who has access to the OIC instance, can read/write/delete any object on the local SFTP server.
This is a HUGE security breach as any data is easily accessible by any user. This could include personal details of customers, sensitive financial data or anything else for that matter. This would pose an extremely high risk of data breaches that could lead to legal actions against us.
