Rotating schedule for Healthcare Employees
Summary:
We have a client requirement to configure rotating shifts for 12-hour shift workers in the department of Health.
Employees work a shift rotation of 4 days “on” and 4 days “off” based on the scheduled rotation.
If the effective date of the work schedule is January 1, 2024, and it is assigned to an employee at a later date, the pattern is still following the pattern starting from January 1, 2024, rather than from the date of assignment. This becomes an issue for newly hired employees.
Below is a sample schedule :
- D = Day shift
- N = Night shift
P.S.: Workforce scheduling module is not in scope.
